This development created a large two storey extension to the theatre along with a major facelift to the existing building. It will house new drama, dance, film & TV and recording studios; a 60-seat cinema; and a new bar and café. Once completed the project will be a focal point in the regeneration of Hammersmith town centre.
Contrasol provided a truly bespoke design developed with the architect from an early stage to ensure the original aesthetics were achieved for this important feature design of the facade. The bespoke nature of the project and the restricted site access above a busy shopping centre made for a challenging installation that suited our proactive design and project management style.
