Occicles House, set in rural woodland near Henley-on-Thames, is a contemporary build and features Contrasol’s 200CF aluminium aerofoil fins fixed in a vertical screen across the south facing windows.
Working directly with the home owner, Contrasol offered various systems that would balance the need to reduce heat gain and visual glare in the living room while keeping to the required aesthetics and maintaining the views out to the surrounding countryside.
Mounted off the curtain wall mullions, this vertical system with horizontal aerofoils set at 45 degrees provides shading performance with a design that balances form and function.
