The University of Bradford’s Bright Building achieved the highest ever BREEAM Outstanding rating for a University.
The key ambition for the project was to create a highly sustainable, low energy building, combining inventive design, innovative materials with low embodied energy and low carbon technology.
The building is positioned in the middle of the campus and is used as an educational tool to showcase and inspire sustainable construction.
The main south facing façade makes full use of our shading systems which include vertically stacked timber fins and horizontally projecting Brise Soleil bays. We also installed the tensioned fabric signage.
