Working alongside WH International for this £1.6m, 4300sq/m development, this newly built Industrial Estate includes this highly unique, stacked design for our 400 Aerofoil ContraFin product.
This horizontal Brise Soleil system which wraps around the entrance area of this office/warehouse unit consists of 10no 400 fins that span 6m in-between steels which pitch away from the building. The aerofoils have been secured to the external feature steels by structural end caps at sides and, due to the span, 2no tie rods per pay back to the main building structure.
The use of photvoltaic roof panels, air source heat pumps and our ContraFins has help achieve a ‘very good’ BREEAM rating.
