Logic Studio School is situated within an existing two-storey building, which comprises of the former Design Technology and Art rooms of Feltham Community College. The School is part of the Tudor Park Education Trust, and the project was funded by the Education Funding Agency via the Free School programme.
Studio Schools operate a new approach to learning, which includes teaching through industry-led enterprise projects and work placements to offer a range of academic and vocational qualifications. The modern and unique design incorporates contemporary workspaces, as well as traditional teaching spaces, to prepare students for their professional careers. Big open spaces and natural light allow for flexible learning and an innovative approach to technology. The downstairs has an industrial feel, whilst upstairs has a corporate office finish, with an abundance of breakout areas.
We designed supplied and installed our 300mm WRC Eco Fin to this project which was specified in long horizontal runs and fixed to the curtain walling system of the entrance façade to protect the occupants from glare, and reduce solar gain.
