Adjacent to the UK’s third biggest airport, and their largest of two sites, THQ, is a new landmark business campus.
Contrasol have designed, supplied and installed a full range of solar shading and façade products to its ICON Studios, MSCP and ICON Offices scheme at Airport City.
Working in partnership with the Architects and Main Contractors from an early stage, we have safely and successfully installed our 150AF cantilever and 400AF Lightshelf Fins to the Warehouse areas, together with our Glass Fins and 100Z four side roof screen to the Office areas.
We have also created a practical and visually stunning statement to the MSCP areas with our vertical 400 Cubic Fins, and 2mm Aluminium EXP architectural Mesh Screens complete with bespoke signage to compliment the original visuals.
The warehouse sits on an 18 acre-plot within the 45-acre ICON development between the M56 and the A538 Wilmslow Road and is our second successfully completed project on this site.
