This development sits on a landlocked site with complicated boundaries and multiple adjacent commercial and residential properties and so privacy concerns were the client’s main priority when
commissioning Contrasol for this project.
Contrasol designed, manufactured and installed bespoke feature aluminium fin frames to the building’s façade, clad with Nordic brass sheet laser cut into multiple patterns. These were bracketed off the structure
providing privacy and ‘folding louvre detail’. The
bespoke design using 1400×3700 fins provides a
practical solution to privacy issues as well as an
aesthetic enhancement to the development.
