IPG Photonics Ansty Park, Coventry – The 1.5 million sqft Technology Park IPG Photonics is the world’s leading manufacturer of high-performance fibre lasers, which are used in everything from telecoms to medicine.
Construction of a 50,000 sqft advanced manufacturing and research building, comprising high bay trussed frame process areas for production, assembly and testing of advanced equipment.
The process area is mechanically ventilated and temperature controlled with plant decks located above the composite roof mounted on perforated steel decks.
Works also include supporting office space with a main reception, toilets, canteen, meeting rooms, open plan and closed offices to CAT A enhanced standards.
Associated external works involve a combination of concrete service yards and ramps, block paviour paths, tarmacadam and block paviour car parking, retaining walls and soft landscaping works.
