This project was a joint venture between Peterborough Regional College and Anglia Ruskin University. The building contains all types of teaching and learning facilities with the main design feature being a triple height atrium containing the main lecture theatre and public area.
Contrasol designed a bespoke Brise Soleil system across the south facing facade, with fins fixed at variable pitches and angles to create a shading system that adds to the distinctive aesthetic of the building while providing the required control of the solar heat gain.
