Hunters South Architects

A £35million new school building in Hillingdon that will allow the school to offer 1,080 places for pupils in the borough.

The building contains 53 classrooms, specialist design and technology rooms, a sports hall and a sixth form study area.
The architect designed the south facing learning areas so they are recessed behind our Brise Soleil that provides essential solar shading along with a harmonizing effect to the classroom façade.

We used the large 500mm width fins to achieve the spans required between the buildings structural steelwork. The fins were fitted horizontally across vertical and projecting bays.
